From Ad To Verse

I've always liked writing funny poems and parodies, ever since college. I started writing poetry when I was ten but it was usually (always) very Deep and Meaningful. I wrote a bunch of parodies in college, alongside the serious stuff, including line-by-line parodies of The Waste Land and The Love Song of J.Alfred Prufrock which starred various friends and acquaintances and college landmarks. I still write serious poems but not as much. Actually, one or two of these are a bit serious  - "Split Ends" for example, only the serious is accessed through the funny. Which suits me just fine.

I'll try and sort out the first section a bit better sometime. It is a mishmash, I know!
