In these days of worry, work, stress and strain we all must "keep our chins up."Especially while drinking, 'cause if you don't keep your chin up that delicious stuff will spill right down your front.
And yes, Virginia, there really is a face in your glass of cheap wine. How did she get in there? And many glasses have you had, anyhow?

P.S. The real Virginia Dare was the first English child born in the New World, in 1587.]

I think that's when you know you've had enough: when you see faces in your glass. At least, I've always found it to be true.
Personally, I don't care if my friends are smiling. If they want to be miserable, hey, that's their problem. Buy your own booze, losers!!
I love cheap wine. It's one of my best friends. :-)
odd ad. but kind of cool!
Shouldn't Virginia Dare Wine come from, um, Virginia?
FreshHell - It's a good indication, yes.
Barbara - LOL!
Keith - Oh, me too. I once took a wine-tasting course and I always loved the cheapo wine that everyone else was wrinkling their noses at, and the instructor was acting all horrified. And I was all: oh, more please :)
Mr. Jeffrey - I think so too.
Tori - It should, but it's from Brooklyn, oddly enough.
I know they need to sell their wine, but actively encouraging depressed people to drink is really low. Ugh!
Great post, cute! "dropping" by and wanted to leave a comment to say hello!
This is the third time I've seen something written about Virginia Dare today, from three different places. Spooky. And I went 400 years since I last hear her name. I received a bottle of wine for Thanksgiving called "Happy Camper". Don't know what year vintage it was. September, I think. Hey. :)
Brandy - Hi! Thanks for visiting :)
Max - I heard about Virginia Dare on TV yesterday, which I promptly and shamelessly Twittered about. And you might be hearing about her again because I found another VD (ahem) ad which is quite funy, from the 50s.
Three times is a charm, they say (whoever they are) - perhaps this Means Something?
Ive never heard of virginia dare wine but... wow. It sounds really cheesy! And that face in the glass is um, so odd! So so odd! lol
